My Girls

I seriously LOVE these girls! They mean everything to me and don't know what I would do without them. They truly love each other and I love and have loved watching them play, grow, and become best of friends!!

Halloween....

We had the most fun Halloween week and a half. I swear it felt like Scottee was in her costume all week long for one party or another. She loved it though!! For Halloween we went to my parents house and did our annual tradition...pizza and Witch's Brew.

And then we left for trick-or-treating; Scottee and Gavin had so much fun! Scott is very into dressing up and so we always stick with a family theme. Since Scottee was being Cinderella we went with that theme. I asked Scottee who Daddy should be and she yelled, "My Prince"!!! and then I asked her who I should be and she said Lucifer...the cat!! So...that pretty much tells you how she really feels about her parents.

One of her favorite people!!

Nana's 60th Birthday

For Scott's Moms birthday we had a little surprise party for her and then stayed the whole weekend with them. It was a lot of fun. One of the days we all went and had a picnic at the water park. It was so fun, this park was amazing and had so many activities that you could seriously hurt yourself on, loved it!! Scott and his brother had more fun I think than all of the kids put together!

Summer activities

We have had such a fun summer so far. Scott has played A LOT of golf! And us girls have done A LOT of swimming! Scottee has taken 6 weeks of lessons this summer. She is doing wonderful and can swim at least the width of the pool. I am so proud of her. Hadlee and I did some serious bonding time during those lessons in the heat.

Our Temple trip

We went to the temple one Saturday just to take the girls and let them walk around. Scottee loved it and asks on a regular basis to go back. I have such a strong testimony of temples and want my girls to gain one as early as possible as well and to know that there is no where else that you can be closer to our Savior than in his House. I am so grateful to have a temple so close and hope to be better at attending the temple and taking as much advantage of it as I can.

Mother's Day

How blessed I feel to be a Mom, to have the Mom I have and to have the GrandMOTHER I have. Yesterday was such a wonderful Mother's Day. It first started with Scott and Scottee bringing me up pancakes in bed. I loved it and he let me sleep in until 8:30. But that did mean I only had 30 minutes to get me and two other children ready for church, but oh well! Then we went to church and Scottee decided she was going up to sing with the primary even though she is only in nursery. But I can guarantee that girl knew the songs way more than any child out there. She was adorable! Then we went over ot my Moms Relief Society and Scottee sang "I Often go Walking" all by herself standing on the table for her entire Relief Society. She brought tears to all of the ladies faces and especially mine. She did not miss a beat. She was so excited that during Sunday School she leaned over to my Mom and said, "Tell him to stop talking so I can go sing"! After being priviledged enough to show her off then the most kind, well-spoken, generous, classy, best-dressed, FUN, loving GrandMOTHER spoke. She always brings tears to everyone and I never feel the Spirit as strong as when she and my Mother speak. Those two women are so unbelievaley close to their Heavenly Father that the Spirit radiates off of them. I love them so much and hope one day I can be half the WOMEN they are. I know they will one day be Queens!! I love you two and thank you for all you have done for me and the Legacy and example you have left me.
Happy Mother's Day to all of the wonderul Mothers and Women out there.

Crawling!!!

Hadlee started rocking and doing all sorts of so called crawling but not the "real" crawl until Monday! She looks adorable doing it. She is growing up so fast and it makes me so sad except that she can't wait to be old enough to play with her sister. She loves to watch her and do everything she is doing. I love to watch them together, I hope they will always be best friends.
Scottee has mostly just been swimming and playinh at parks everyday. Every morning she asks me if we are going to the pool or water park today. She now expects it!! Oh well I enjoy myself as well.
I will post later with pics.
